Current Vacancy - IT Support Team Leader
In order to provide the best possible support service to our clients, responsibilities to include:
- Helping to organise the support team and distribute workload
- Ensuring the help desk is covered at all times between agreed service hours
- Senior point of contact for all escalated incidents, overseeing through to satisfactory completion
- Establishing clear team and individual objectives
- Staff Development and Training
- Identify support trends, review and eliminate recurring issues
- Primarily office based in Hoddesdon, with occasional site visits to clients
Experience and Skills
- An analytical approach to problem solving
- Minimum 3 years experience of providing IT support in a high profile environment
- Minimum 1 years experience in a supervisory role
- Previous experience of delivery of Service Level Agreements
- Strong understanding and working knowledge of desktop systems (Windows 7, XP and Office all versions)
- Good understanding and working knowledge of server operating systems (Server 2003, 2008)
- High level knowledge of networking concepts - TCP/IP, DNS, WINS and DHCP
- High level knowledge of email system concepts - Microsoft Exchange, SMTP, POP
- Must be thorough and see projects/tasks through to completion
- Must be able to remain calm under pressure and stay focused
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
